Getting fired from your first job is a difficult moment. Even if experiencing it is a necessary rite of passage, losing that gig because you tried to be nice to a customer is frustrating. TikToker Maxwell (maxwellsvision) recently shared that this happened to him when he worked at Carl’s Jr. as a teenager. It’s safe to say he’s still not over it. If the 1.8 million views and thousands of comments are anything to go by, TikTok felt for him.
Maxwell’s story centers on his coworker, Ezmirelda, and how she got him fired. As he mentioned in his post, “If you’re watching this, I still haven’t forgave you, gang.” He claimed that he had an easy job. It was four days a week after school, mostly manning the drive-thru that was usually empty. Then, on what was a regular Tuesday, a coworker left on their break, which is when “all h*ll broke loose.” Suddenly there was a line of cars and one really giant order.
