Police are hunting a man wanted in connection with the assault of a teenage girl in Hamilton.
The 17-year-old girl was attacked near football pitches on Dixon Street in the town at around 8pm on Saturday, 24 September
The suspect is described as being a white male aged between 20-25.
Officers believe the man is around 5ft 7in tall and was last seen wearing a light grey hooded top and blue shorts.
Authorities are asking anyone who can assist with their enquiries to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Lorraine Wilson East Kilbride Police Office said: “This is a busy area and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault take place or has information that will assist our enquiry.
“If you noticed anyone matching this description please get in touch with police. “Any drivers with dash-cam footage who passed the area around that time and observed the man and woman are also asked to contact officers. “
