A teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Aaron Keating in Ongar.
It is believed that Keating was stabbed to death following a verbal row with a group on Main Street on Tuesday evening at 7pm. He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead.
Gardai arrested a male teenager on suspicion of murder earlier this morning. He is currently detained at a garda Station in West Dublin.
A garda spokesman said an incident room has been established at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer. He added: "A family liaison officer has been appointed to the family of the deceased man.

"A post-mortem is set to be carried out by the State Pathologist later this afternoon." Furthermore, gardai have appealed for anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact them.
The spokesman said: "Investigating gardai are appealing to any persons who were in the vicinity of Main Street, Ongar on Tuesday evening between 6.30pm and 7pm to contact them at Blanchardstown Garda station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
