Adding more dynamic playmakers to the pass offense is one of the main priorities for Andrew Berry and the Cleveland Browns this offseason. While appearing on his weekly podcast, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson sent a message to pending free agent Tee Higgins of the Cincinnati Bengals.
‘The Browns quarterback talked about how much the team wants to pass the ball next season, implying there would be plenty of targets to go around. Higgins is by far the best potential free agent at the position if he does make it to free agency in March. The former Clemson Tiger is a big-bodied player who finds a way to make difficult catches in traffic with his physicality and strength.
However, I do not think the Bengals will let Higgins walk unless they franchise tag and trade him. If they go that way, there is no chance they would trade him to the Browns. If somehow they let him walk, the Browns should be all over the chance to sign him.
Bengals fans won’t like this, but #Browns QB Deshaun Watson openly advocated for the team to sign soon to be free agent WR Tee Higgins today on their podcast⬇️⬇️
