Tech & Science Daily: The UK’s new £5million Virtual Reality centre

We hear about the new £5million Virtual Reality centre in the UK.

Pippa Bostock, Business Director at the Centre for Creative and Immersive XR at the University of Portsmouth, explains why it’s needed to help plug the talent gap in this growing industry.

Just some of the technology on offer at the facility includes a WhiteLight SmartStage as well as motion capture and photogrammetry stages, where anyone or anything can be scanned in 3D.
