Notts County fans have been left stunned by the return of striker David McGoldrick to the club,

The 35-year-old will head back to Meadow Lane 19 years after leaving the Magpies having turned down the offer of a new contract at Derby County.

The move was officially confirmed by Notts today in what is a significant coup for the League Two club with the striker penning a two-year deal.
