TCU wins thriller, rallying past No. 9 Texas Tech in final minutes

FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU knocked off No. 9 Texas Tech in thrilling fashion Saturday afternoon.

The Horned Frogs rallied for a 69-66 victory at Schollmaier Arena, their biggest home victory since knocking off No. 2 Baylor on Feb. 29, 2020. Frogs faithful stormed the court and celebrated with the team as officials reviewed the final shot by the Red Raiders.

TCU, led by Mike Miles' 26 points, improved to 18-9 overall, 7-8 in Big 12 play. Tech fell to 22-7, 11-5 in Big 12 play.

TCU returns to action against No. 5 Kansas on Tuesday night at Schollmaier Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. It’s part of back-to-back games between TCU and KU as the Frogs travel to Allen Fieldhouse on Thursday.
