The regional finalists were announced for the 2023 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America Team, and Ohio State’s Taylor Mikesell was included for the second-straight season.
Mikesell has put together another fantastic season in Columbus. She leads the team in scoring with 17.2 points per game, is third on the team in assists (82 total), and leads the team with 3.2 three-pointers per contest. Despite just being in the program for two years, Mikesell’s 222 three-pointers made is fourth all-time at Ohio State. She has reached double figures in 32 games this season and has scored over 20 points nine times.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsMikesell is also on the watch list for the Ann Meyers-Drysdale Award, Naismith Trophy, Wooden Award, and Wade Award. She was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Jan. 9 and earned a spot on the weekly honor roll on Dec. 5.
