Taylor Lautner admits he doesn't remember iconic Jacob line from Twilight

Twilight star Taylor Lautner admitted he’d forgotten an iconic line from the franchise.

Lautner is best known for playing Jacob in the fantasy film saga, one third of the love triangle with Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and Edward, played by Robert Pattinson. The hugely popular series saw fans divided into 'Team Edward' and 'Team Jacob' as people tried to predict who Bella would end up with.

Speaking at a panel while attending Liverpool Comic Con at the Exhibition Centre this month, Taylor said he’d forgotten all about one of his iconic lines from the Twilight saga. In a scene with Bella (Kristen Stewart) Taylor’s character Jacob says: “Bella, where have you been loca?”

At the panel, Taylor announced that he hadn’t realised the line had become a viral TikTok sound. When asked if his favourite line in the movies was ‘where the hell have you been loca’, he said: “See, that whole thing I was kind of confused by because - I’m gonna sound like an old person here, and I’m getting up there - but I’m not on TikTok, you know, I’m just not kept up with the times, per se.

“And, I just, probably two years ago, I would just start walking the streets and people would come up to me and say ‘can you say where the hell have you been loca’. And I’m like ‘what?’”

He added: “Honestly, I forgot that was even a line in the movie. And it’s such like a - it’s not an important line. And it just blew up and became this thing and I have no idea why but people love it. Now, I like, get it, I mean I don’t really get it but I get it.”

Taylor was one of many celebrity guests at Liverpool Comic Con, with others such as Doctor Who and House of the Dragon star Matt Smith, his House of the Dragon co-star Paddy Considine, and Stranger Things' Matthew Modine also making appearances.
