Tasmanian tiger: Scientists hope to revive extinct marsupial in world-first

Scientists in Australia and the US are hoping to bring the Tasmanian tiger back from extinction using stem cells and gene editing technology.

Those behind the bid suggest it could mean the creature, which went extinct in the 1930s, could be reintroduced to the wild in just ten years time.
