Tallaght deaths: Warning as videos of Rossfield incident shared on WhatsApp

A Sinn Fein councillor was asked people to stop sharing videos of the horrific incident in Tallaght that claimed the lives of three young people.

Dermot Richardson, councillor for the Tallaght area, called for people to stop sharing video footage of the incident on WhatsApp and social media sites. He said instead the footage should be given to Gardai.

"There are videos being shared on WhatsApp. I would ask people not to share it out of respect for the family and the local community as well," he told the Irish Mirror.
