Takeaways and observations from Eagles 21-17 win over Chiefs on MNF

The Eagles are 9-1 and the best team in the NFL after a gritty 21-17 win over the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night.

Philadelphia overcame a 17-7 Chiefs lead at the half and held Kansas City scoreless in the second half, as the Birds moved to 9-1 on the season.

Sean Desai’s defense gave up 336 total yards but held Andy Reid’s offense to 8-17 on third downs and 2-4 in the red zone, with the Chiefs going three straight trips without points.

Jalen Hurts ran for two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score on a Brotherly Shove late in the fourth quarter, to remain the NFC’s top seed entering Week 12.

With the focus shifting towards the Bills, we’re looking at takeaways and observations from the huge win.

In the Week 9 win, the Eagles held the Cowboys to six points in the second half, and then held the Chiefs scoreless in the second half Monday night after allowing 17 first half points.

Sean Desai and his Philadelphia defense will take your best shot in the first half, and then they’ll adjust and snuff the opponent out.
