Take-Two confirms seven sequels, six remasters and remakes, and more will release by 2029

Take-Two Interactive, parent company to Rockstar, Gearbox, 2K, and others, confirmed recently that seven sequels, six remasters and remakes, as well as expansions are going to come out by 2029. Though it didn’t specify which games these are going to be, I surely hope they give some of their old hits a chance to shine through modern tech.

As per The Gamer, the same financial call that saw Take-Two chief executive Strauss Zelnick reaffirm GTA 6‘s Nov. 19 release also had him reveal substantial plans to create sequels, remakes, and remasters throughout the next few years. Zelnick said seven sequels and six remakes or remasters are coming by 2029, while “core existing IPs” will also get platform extensions, likely bringing them over to the PS6 and the new Xbox, whenever those come out.
