Visa: Which Country Lets You In More Easily
Taiwan has a clear edge here. Indian passport holders can apply for a Taiwan visa on arrival if they hold a valid visa or residence permit from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, or any Schengen country. If you have any of those, you pay nothing at the airport and get 30 days. Without one, you apply for a regular tourist visa through the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, processing takes about a week, the fee is roughly ₹3,500, and approvals are generally straightforward for salaried applicants with bank statements and a return ticket.
