NEW DELHI: The Indian women's team's captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, is optimistic that they will be among the likely semi-finalists in this year's T20 World Cup and that defeating the "Southern Stars" will be crucial to securing their first-ever worldwide championship.

From October 3-20, Bangladesh will host the T20 World Cup. Harmanpreet is counting on the Indian team's experience with the local conditions to win the tournament.
