Vodafone has been awarded the crown for Broadband Provider of the Year at the 2023 Switcher.ie Awards.
Marking the tenth anniversary of the Switcher.ie Awards, which celebrate the best broadband and mobile providers in Ireland, Irish consumers voted to have their say in the best provider in the country, and the results are in.

In the broadband category, Vodafone trumped the list for the second year running to take home gold - Broadband Provider of the Year - as well as accolades for the Best Value Broadband Provider, Best Customer Service and Best Technical Support.
Sky was a close second, winning TV Provider of the Year, Best Broadband Bundle and Best TV Content.
48 reigned in the Mobile categories, earning the top prize of Mobile Network of the Year, as well as Best Value Mobile Network and Best SIM-Only Pay as You Go Plan.
Virgin Mobile scooped awards for Best Mobile Network for Data and Best SIM-Only Bill Pay Plan, while Vodafone claimed the spot for Best Customer Service.

Speaking about the awards, Eoin Clarke, Commercial Director of Switcher.ie said: “This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Switcher.ie Awards, a milestone year for celebrating excellence in the Irish broadband, TV and mobile phone industries.
“An outlet for consumers to vote and have their voice heard, the Awards highlight the telecom providers who go above and beyond to deliver superior products and services.”
“This year’s Awards are set against a backdrop of rising inflation, colossal energy price hikes and rising costs across the board - meaning it’s never been more important for customers to make informed, measured decisions when switching providers.
