A TikTok creator has gone viral after sharing a bathroom mishap that happened while he was volunteering at a church event. The creator, who goes by “cole” on the platform, posted the story under his account @coleundercoverr_0, where it has drawn public attention.
In the video, Cole explained that he needed to use a restroom before a “trunk and treat” event at a church parking lot. Since the church bathrooms were locked, he allegedly went to a Costco store across the street to use the facility there.
He said he sat down in the stall without checking the toilet seat first, and later discovered that someone else’s waste had already been left on it.
Creator says he sat down without checking the toilet seat first
According to Cole, he and his family arrived early at the church parking lot to help set up for the trunk and treat event. Since the church restrooms were not open, he used his mother’s Costco membership card to get into the store and access the bathroom there.

He said he walked into the stall without paying close attention to the seat. It was only after he stood up and pulled his pants back on that he noticed something was stuck to him. He turned around and saw that the toilet seat was covered in someone else’s feces, which had already transferred onto him.
He tried cleaning himself up with toilet paper, but said there was too much on him and not enough paper to handle it. He ended up removing his underwear and flushing it down the toilet, which then caused the toilet to clog. Public restroom emergencies have gone viral before, including two strangers who bonded over a missing toilet paper crisis.
As he was leaving the stall, another customer who had been waiting outside walked in, only to find his underwear floating in the toilet. Cole said he left the bathroom immediately afterward.
He then described trying to reach his parents. “Call my parents like 20 times and they don’t answer,” he said in the video. When he finally found them and explained what had happened, he asked to go home to shower right away. According to him, they told him he needed to stay until the event was over, so he ended up waiting in the car for close to two hours before finally being able to leave.
The video was posted with the caption: “have yet to use that bathroom since #storytime #grwm #rant #fyp #viral.” Bathroom access has also caused frustration for other people in public settings, such as a woman’s dispute over a hotel restroom policy.
The video drew a number of comments from viewers, and cole responded to several of them directly. One commenter wrote, “literally how did you not notice at first.” Cole replied, “i wasnt playing attention, i learned my lesson.”
Another commenter asked, “do yall not use the toilet seat covers???” Cole responded, “no i usually always do i wa shuts in a rush and wasnt paying attention or looking.” A separate commenter referenced the part of the story where his parents told him he could not leave early, writing, “THEY SAID NO.” Cole replied, “yep!”
