I've been hunting for cool, affordable gadgets that would make good holiday gifts, and I think I might have just found the perfect thing. This Switchbot Candle Warmer lamp is a smart way to bring coziness to your home. It acts like a lamp – emitting a warm glow – but you can also pop a scented candle underneath and it'll gently melt it to release its fragrance, without the worry of a naked flame and without creating any smoke.
It's available in the US, UK and EU. There's a deal on in the US that takes it down to a pleasingly affordable $32 at SwitchBot (was $39.99). I haven't spotted any offers elsewhere yet, but some might yet crop up before the Christmas buying season is over.
