Person seriously injured after 'bad' crash near Switch Island
A person is being treated for serious injuries after a "bad" two car smash new Switch Island.

Merseyside Police received a 999 call at around 3.50pm on Thursday, September 29, following reports of a crash on Northway in Maghull. Once at the scene they found a brown Peugeot and a black Ford Kuga had crashed at the junction of Dover Road.
Police requested the help of Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service as the people involved in the crash were trapped in the vehicles. Pictures from the scene, which The ECHO has chosen not to publish, show the roof and back doors of the Peugeot were removed.
Queen Elizabeth's cause of death confirmed
Queen Elizabeth's cause of death has been confirmed.
It was reported today, on September 29, that the Queen’s death certificate has been released by the National Records of Scotland. It said the Queen died of ‘Old Age’ at 3.10pm on September 8.
The official informant was listed as her daughter, the Princess Royal, Anne. The Registrar General for Scotland, Paul Lowe, confirmed that Her Majesty’s death was registered in the village in Aberdeenshire
The Queen died at her home in Balmoral, Scotland, hence the certificate coming from there. Following her state funeral on 19 September, the royal family entered an official period of mourning, which came to an end earlier this week.
'Beautiful' woman, 21, found dead in Adelphi Hotel room named
A "beautiful" young woman who died accidentally at the Adelphi Hotel has been named as the inquest process begins.
Chloe Haynes, 21, was found dead in the city centre hotel at 6.37am on Saturday, September 10 after the emergency services received calls regarding a "concern for safety". Merseyside Police officers entered the hotel and found Miss Haynes in a room.
Three men, aged 26, 46 and 49, were initially arrested in connection with the death but were released without charge after police concluded the victim had died "accidentally".
