A man has been charged with rape and two counts of sexual assault.
Russell Jones is accused of raping someone at a property in St Helens and carrying out two sexual assault in Whiston. The 45-year-old, of Ratcliffe Place, Rainhill was charged by Merseyside police on Wednesday, October 26.
He will now appear in Liverpool Crown Court, on Thursday, November 24. A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "We have charged a 45-year-old man from Rainhill with a rape and two counts of sexual assault Russell Jones, of Ratcliffe Place, Rainhill, was charged yesterday, Wednesday 26 th October.

"The rape was reported to have taken place at a property in St Helens and the two offences of sexual assaults reportedly occurred in Whiston. Jones will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 24th November.
