Police have released CCTV images of a car believed to have been involved in a shooting.
Shots were fired at a house on Owen Road, Kirkdale, at around 7.05pm on Friday, December 30. No injuries were reported after the shooting but a home was damaged.
Detectives say CCTV images have captured a light-coloured Nissan Qashqai, driving along Melrose Road in the direction of Selwyn Street in Kirkdale after the incident. They hope the image will encourage witnesses to come forward with information.

Detective inspector John Mullen said: "We will not tolerate the use of guns on our streets. Thankfully nobody was injured on this occasion, but firing a gun in a residential street is extremely reckless and could have resulted in tragic circumstances, the type of which we are all acutely aware."
DI Mullen added: "We have been able to obtain CCTV images of a car we believe may have been involved in this offence. We understand that this image we have released may not be the best quality, but we hope it will help witnesses recall any information which will help with the investigation and we encourage people to come forward.
"Any information you can give, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, could be vital and help bring the offender to justice. In addition, I would ask any witnesses we have not already spoken to, who were in the area at that time and saw something suspicious, please to contact us.
"We know the harm and devastation guns cause, and we will be relentless in our pursuit of those who use them in our communities.
