Police investigating a stabbing at the weekend have charged a woman.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Carr Lane East, Croxteth, after a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and leg. He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The stabbing took place at around 6.30pm, on Saturday, March 12, outside a home. Police quickly arrested three people, a 44-year-old man and two women, aged 46 and 49, all from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Now detectives have confirmed that a 46-year-old woman has been charged with Section 18 wounding. Natalie Bennett, of Carr Lane East, will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today, Monday, March 13. The two other people arrested have been conditionally bailed.
A spokesperson for Merseyside pPolice said: "Detectives investigating a stabbing in Croxteth on Saturday, 12 March have charged a woman. At around 6.30pm, we received a report that a 24-year-old man had been stabbed on Carr Lane East.
"Officers attended and an ambulance took the victim to hospital for treatment to chest and leg injuries. His current condition is described as critical.
"Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East has been charged with Section 18 wounding and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today, Monday 13 March.
