Susanna Reid jokingly feared a 'walk out' on Good Morning Britain as Ranvir Singh's comment to Richard Madeley seemingly went wrong. Susanna and Richard were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Tuesday (March 7) after the latter returned for his first show in weeks on Monday.
Former This Morning star Richard quipped that he "hadn't got the sack" following his extended absence from the show with Ed Balls becoming a more regular fixture in his place.
Acknowledging Richard's return to the show on Monday (March 6), Susanna said: "We haven’t yet, Richard Madeley, said welcome back. You appear to have made a full recovery." She then ended up grimacing as she revealed details behind an accident which kept him off air, explaining how a car door had slammed into him with such an impact that it made him bite his tongue.
