The coach of a disabled football team has called his players "superhuman" after they completed a 24-hour football challenge.
Carl Eaton, founder of the Skem Men-aces set up the challenge to raise "much needed" funds for the club and to support local food banks in the area. The football team, set up in 2009 was "hit badly" by the pandemic and Carl said he "owed it to the lads" to raise money for new equipment.
The match aimed to keep the ball "constantly moving" and the team played in shifts throughout the night to complete the challenge, but by 3am Carl thought he and the team were "done for".
