Superdrug officially opened the doors to its largest ever Scottish store in a Glasgow shopping centre today.
The high street health and beauty retail chain opened its new store in Braehead Shopping Centre at 10am and it has everyone that shoppers could want - including an in-house beauty studio.
With over 830 stores across the UK and 200 in-store pharmacies, Superdrug is currently the second largest health and beauty retailer in the country.
The new store, which occupies 9,324sq ft of space, will give shoppers access to a range of exclusive brands, cosmetics products, luxury fragrances and in-store treatments.
Creating 10 new jobs for the area, the new Superdrug store can be found in a larger unit from its previous location within the lower Braehead mall.
Beauty lovers will be spoiled for choice with a range of products from the retailer's affordable own-brands that includes Me+, B.Skin, Optimum, Vitamin E and Naturally Radiant.
Savvy shoppers will also be able to snap up products from major brands that have been trending all over social media recently, such as the Mielle Organics Hair Oil.
The store will also be welcoming cosmetics from makeup brand Milani, as well as stocking more choices from Rimmel London.
It will also offer beauty enthusiasts a premium fragrance counter for visitors to treat themselves to the latest premium fragrances from brands such as YSL, Viktor & Rolf, Prada and Valentino, with regular purse-friendly promotions on perfume and aftershave.
While an in-house beauty studio will be on location to offer shoppers affordable nail, lash and piercing services while they visit the store for some essentials.
Nigel Duxbury, property director at Superdrug has said of the new Braehead store: "We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our brand-new store in Braehead.
