Relegation-threatened Everton are in pole position to secure Premier League safety this season, but there is still work for Sean Dyche and his players to do to uphold their top-flight status.
With two matches remaining, the Blues are sitting in 17th position on 32 points and have their destiny in their own hands. Leeds United (31 points) and Leicester City (30 points) are directly behind them and pushing while rock-bottom Southampton have already been relegated.
Everton will be doing everything they can to avoid joining them in the Championship next campaign as they prepare to take on Wolves and Bournemouth in their final matches. Nottingham Forest (34 points) have some breathing space, but are still not safe yet with four teams battling to hold on to two Premier League positions.

FiveThirtyEight uses SPI ratings - which have an attacking and defensive component - in order to determine which team is going to win any specific game. This is all built up to see how many points clubs will earn over the course of an entire Premier League campaign.
