Manchester City supporters have waxed lyrical about Erling Haaland after he marked his Etihad Stadium debut with an assist in less than 20 minutes.
Fresh from scoring twice on his City debut against West Ham United last weekend, the Norwegian, snapped up from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer, showed his ability to create chances and bring others into play, setting up Ilkay Gundogan with just 19 minutes on the clock against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The striker played a lovely give-and-go with the German, while on the turf, to send him clear and enable him to score what was his 50th goal in City colours. Haaland showed tremendous strength to hold off two Cherries players and slip Gundogan in to slot home with his left foot.

It was terrific centre-forward play from the youngster and highlighted that he will bring far more than just goals to the table for Pep Guardiola's side. Unsurprisingly, his assist earned rave reviews from City supporters watching and they took to social media almost immediately to hail their new hero.

Since Gundogan opened the scoring, City, at the time of writing, have increased their lead by a further two goals, finding the back of the net through Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden. Haaland, however, was not directly involved in either of those goals.
