The first score of Super Bowl 57 belongs to the Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Jalen Hurts with fans waiting barely five minutes before there were points on the board.
It initially looked like Kenneth Gainwell scored on the play before, giving anyone who took him +1600 to score first a huge adrenaline rush before reality (and instant replay) came back to crush them. Gainwell was clearly short of the goal line. The QB snuck the ball in on the next play to finish off the drive.
Hurts had +800 odds pregame at BetMGM to score the first points of the game.

A field goal by either team was the favorite at BetMGM to account for the first score with both the Chiefs and Eagles at +375, yet Philadelphia had a slight edge to get on the board first via touchdown (+175) compared to Kansas City (+200).
Despite that, Travis Kelce was the heavy favorite to score the first touchdown in the game at +650, which was the single most-bet prop at BetMGM. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had the second-best odds to score the first touchdown at +800.
