A Sunshine Coast man, who is a member of the Jehovah's Witness community has been charged with more than 50 offences relating to sexual assault.
He is charged with 21 counts of rape, an additional 30 counts relating to other alleged offences including sexual assault, torture and common assault.
Police executed a search warrant at a Mooloolaba address on Sunday and took the man into custody over the alleged offences committed over a 10-year period.
Police allege the man sexually assaulted the young men from 2008 to 2018.
The charges related to four alleged victims, all male, who were aged in their late teens to early twenties.
His matter was heard in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Tuesday and was adjourned to Wednesday.
Police urged anyone with information that may assist with the investigations to come forward.
