Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has taken on a role on the board of trustees at the Foundation of Light. The charity, which was set up by former Black Cats Chairman Sir Bob Murray, was founded in 2001 with the aim of using the power of football to tackle the North East's biggest societal challenges.
The Black Cats owner accepted an invite from Sir Murray to join an ever-growing list of household names already on the Board of Trustees. Those include Kate Adie, George Clarke, Steve Cram, The Rt Hon The Baroness Estelle Morris of Yardley, Colonel The Hon James Ramsbotham, Sir Tim Rice, Martin Hibbert and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson.
Louis-Dreyfus said: “I am honoured to have been named on the Foundation of Light’s Board of Trustees and I would like to thank Sir Bob Murray for this kind invitation.
