Tony Mowbray has fresh injury worries going into Saturday's game at Coventry City - but the Sunderland boss gave no clues as to who might miss out. The Black Cats face their seventh game in 22 days as their gruelling February campaign continues at Coventry.
Mowbray has made three changes in each of Sunderland's last three games in an attempt to manage the workload of his players, but fatigue and minor knocks are unavoidable. Mowbray admitted there are fitness concerns over some members of his squad following the midweek defeat at Rotherham United but would not go into detail, although he says he will still be fielding a strong side against the Sky Blues.
"Yes, but not that I'm going to tell you about," said Mowbray when asked if he had any new injury concerns. "There's nothing new in terms of players coming back - we've just got a few that are carrying some knocks and niggles.

"That seems to be the case most weeks, and what do I know is that we'll put what is hopefully a competitive team out at the weekend at Coventry to try and get three points."
Earlier in the week, Mowbray hinted that he would make changes against both Rotherham and Coventry. On the eve of the trip to Rotherham, he said: "We've made three changes in the last couple of games, and there'll probably be another three changes for Rotherham.
"There might be for the weekend again, but then after that, we've got a week of going Saturday to Saturday where hopefully we can recover a bit."
Sunderland's defeat against the Millers saw them slip out of the play-off spots to eighth in the table, but they are only one point away from the top six. Coventry are 11th in the table, four points behind Sunderland, but Mark Robins' side also has a game in hand of the Black Cats.
