October NY world sugar #11 (SBV24) Wednesday closed down -0.06 (-0.31%). Oct London ICE white sugar #5 (SWV24) closed down -3.30 (-0.60%).

Sugar prices fell moderately on Wednesday due to increased sugar production in Brazil. Unica reported Wednesday that in the 2024/25 marketing year through mid-August, Brazil's Center-South sugar production was up by +5.4% y/y to 23.91 MMT.
