March NY world sugar #11 (SBH27) closed down -0.28 (-1.34%) on Monday, and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ26) closed down -8.10 (-1.46%).

Sugar prices settled lower on Monday after the Indian government ordered state-owned fuel retailers to stop procuring ethanol from sugar as of November 1, which should boost sugar supplies.
