Sugar Posts Moderate Losses on Speculation of Ample Global Supplies

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Tuesday closed down -0.18 (-0.81%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) closed down -4.80 (-0.84%).

Sugar prices Tuesday fell back from 1-1/2 week highs and settled moderately lower on speculation that increased sugar output in Thailand will keep global sugar supplies ample despite any shortage from seasonal sugar mill closures in Brazil.
