Sugar Posts Moderate Gains on Dollar Weakness and Strong Crude Prices

Oct NY world sugar #11 (SBV23) on Thursday closed +0.10 (+0.42%), and Aug London white sugar #5 (SWQ23) closed +6.50 (+0.95%).

Sugar prices Thursday extended his week's rally, with NY sugar posting a 2-1/2 week high and London sugar posting a 3-week high.  A slump in the dollar index (DXY00) Thursday to a 15-month low was bullish for most commodity prices, including sugar.
