'Stunning' fireball seen over Bristol channel

A fireball was seen over the Bristol channel last night (May 11).

According to the UK Meteor Network, a fireball is a bright meteor streaking across the sky. They come in a variety of speeds and colours, and occur randomly throughout the year.

UK Fireball Network said: "Stunning bright #fireball last night at 23:39 over the #bristolchannel was caught on a couple of our cameras. Did you see it?"
