A stunning new video has emerged showing the progress Liverpool are making on the Anfield Road stand redevelopment.
The Reds have pencilled in that the project will be completed in time for the start of the 2023/24 season. It will see the overall capacity increase by 7,000 seats, taking the total possible attendance up to 61,000.
Liverpool have construction firm the Buckingham Group seeing over the project, which will cost the club £80m, but is reported to bring in about £10m per season. The expansion will mean that the Reds will host their biggest crowd of the Premier League era in 12 months' time.

The video captured by Mister Drone UK on Youtube shows aerial footage of the expansion. As shown in the video above, the new stand is starting to take shape after the roof truss was installed last month.
Liverpool chief executive Billy Hogan recently provided an update on the expansion and whether or not the club are on schedule to finish in time for the start of next season. Hogan also informed supporters of new experiences that will be available once the expansion is completed.
"The construction timelines we have set of 18 months are aggressive but we are heading in the right direction and we are on budget and on schedule," Hogan told the August edition of FC Business magazine
"We have always been clear about the importance of investing in Anfield and this expansion will allow us to improve the fan experience for our supporters.
"One of the new aspects of the expansion will be an underground fan zone that supporters can enjoy even if the weather is poor. Of course, we will also be able to have more fans in for concerts and other non-football events too, which will bring in additional income.
“As a self-sustaining club, we need to generate as much revenue as we can to continue reinvesting in the team and infrastructure."
