Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has finally tied the knot with fiancé Ben Jones following previous delays on their big day due to Covid.
The 31-year-old professional dancer married her beau at a five-star wedding venue in Gower Peninsula, South Wales, on Saturday.
The happy couple were initially due to tie the knot two years ago in July 2020, but their marriage was put on hold until now due to major delays over Covid restrictions as the pair wanted to ensure that all their friends and family could be present on their big day.
Lifting the lid on their romantic ceremony, Amy told Hello Magazine that her wedding day was everything she had ever dreamed of.
"It was a stunning venue. I always knew I wanted to get married in Wales," she told.
"The day was a celebration of Ben and me."
Among the famous guests at the stunning ceremony were some of Amy's Strictly family including her gorgeous bridesmaid, Dianne Buswell.
Amy first joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
Then, on New Year's Eve in 2017, Amy and Ben got engaged.
And the Strictly bombshell first met her beau Ben 2011, but the lovebirds decided to kept their romance secret for six years - having previously admitted that they were scared of what their dance teachers would say.
After making the decision to postpone their wedding day until yesterday, Amy got to finally enjoy her hen-do back in May ahead of her wedding celebrations.
The Strictly star delighted her fans when she shared a series of snaps from her star-studded hen party as she combined with her fiancé's stag night to create a joined 'sten' party.
Amy took to Instagram to share a string of photos from the fun-filled sten party as she wrote: "After a busy but exciting few days filming for dare to dance only now getting round to posting from a fantastic afternoon Sunday.
"Thank you to our parents at @artinmotion.dance for mine and Ben’s sten party. Such a fun afternoon full of crazy and fabulous surprises. Loved the games. Sorry boys but team bride definitely won".
Congratulations to the happy couple!
