Actor Will Mellor set the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom alight last Saturday when his debut earned him rave reviews from the judges.

The former Hollyoaks star broke down in tears after receiving the top score for a jive with pro partner Nancy Xu, that he dedicated to his late dad.

Now a favourite to win, Will, 46, was cheered on from the crowd by his wife of 15 years, actress Michelle McSwann, who he met when they starred together in the stage musical Oh, What a Night in 1999.
