Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has shared a rare photo of her eldest daughter on social media as she turns 18. The TV presenter, who has two daughters with husband Vernon Kay, uploaded pictures of birthday girl Phoebe to wish her a happy day.
Alongside the snap, Tess said: "Where did the time go? Our little Phoebe is 18 today! Wishing you the happiest birthday!" A recent photo showed Phoebe holding her puppy while another was taken of her on holiday wearing a red outfit. Another image showed her being cradled by Tess and Vernon as a newborn and another. The final picture shared by Tess showed a younger Phoebe in a pink dress with her proud mum and dad. Tess added: "We are so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you. Love you to the moon & back."

The happy birthday messages came thick and fast in response to the post. Strictly co-host Claudia Winkelman cheered: "Happy happy happy birthday Phoebe." Welsh pro dancer Amy Dowden wrote: "Happy birthday Phoebe xxxxx" and Gorka Marquez exclaimed: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", while Dianne Buswell posted a stream of love heart eye emojis.
Fans told Tess how much she and Phoebe look alike, Manchester Evening News reported. Charlotte.king.9066 said: "Wow so like you @tessdaly happy birthday Phoebe." Judithann.maxwell commented: "My goodness the expression ‘two peas in a pod’ comes to mind! Happy Birthday."
Emwilkie4 gasped: "Wow Tess she is your double." And juliebates737 wrote: "She is just like you Tess xxx." Tess along with This Morning and Radio 2 presenter Vernon, from Bolton, also have a 13-year-old daughter named Amber.
In 2003 the couple had a modest wedding in a local church before driving off in a camper van. They opted for a down-to-earth ceremony at St Mary's Church in Horwich, where 49-year-old Vernon grew up.
Tess, from Birch Vale, near New Mills in Derbyshire, wore a white strapless dress by Marina Adanou and Jimmy Choo shoes while Vernon donned a white suit by Alexandre Savile Row. Among the guests were fellow TV presenters Brian Dowling and June Sarpong.
In 2020 during I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! filmed at Gwrych Castle, Vernon revealed how he surprised his wife by secretly arranging for them to renew their wedding vows in the south of France in 2015. The former Family Fortunes host asked her stylist for four dresses for Tess to choose from after booking a weekend away.
