Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis announces exciting new TV job two years after winning show

Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis captured the nation's hearts back in 2021, and has now announced her next TV project.

The EastEnders star, 28, left Albert Square last year after playing Mick Carter's long-lost daughter Frankie Lewis for two years.

Since her soap stint, Rose has appeared on various TV shows including Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice's road trip series Adventures in Sicily.

She reunited with her Strictly co-stars in the programme but has yet been the main star of a show.

Now, Rose, who has been deaf since birth, is set to appear on a special edition of Loose Women in the main role.

Rose will be the main guest on a special Loose Women episode (ITV)

The episode will focus on celebrating and raising awareness of the deaf community, with Rose as the main guest.

Posing in the studio, Rose shared her excitement for the TV special.

"Join us for a Loose Women special episode, to celebrate Deaf Awareness Week," Rose told her fans.

The actress stunned as she wore a lilac halter neck top and black trousers for the occasion.

The Strictly winner opted to wear her long blonde locks in a loose wave, and a pop of purple on her eye lids.

Rose will be joined by Loose Women panellists Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, and Kay Adams for the episode which will air on Wednesday 3 May.

Kay previously revealed she has suffered from gradual hearing loss and now wears a hearing aid.

"During the show from 12.30 pm, Loose Women fans will be able to watch the ITV1 version where subtitles will be available and a fully accessible version on ITVX with subtitles and an 'in vision' signer," said ITV.

"Working alongside charities Royal National Institute for Deaf People, Sign Health and The Deaf Collective, the show's audience will be made up of the deaf community.

"Along with family, friends and BSL signers, with captions available to the audience to make the live show accessible."

Just last month, Rose admitted she misses spending time with her friend Giovanni after the pair grew incredibly close while taking part and going on to win the BBC competition.

Rose's sweet confession came just a few days after Giovanni, 32, made an incredibly rare dating confession, that he does sometimes feel lonely in his single life.

The professional dancer got honest about the realities of how difficult it can be to find a true connection amid his busy life as one of the UK's biggest stars.

Giovanni admitted to fellow dance star Anton Du Beke: "It does get lonely sometimes, it's a tricky thing between - there's a line, a fine line, between: 'I want to be in a relationship and be with somebody because you get lonely'.

"But at the same time, you want to be free to be able to focus on your career. And also, this industry, quite tricky, as you know, because you always have to be focused."

Giovanni has previously has dated reality stars including Maura Higgins, Jess Wright and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, as well as his Strictly partner Georgia May Foote.
