Strictly’s Ola and James Jordan reveal secret to six and a half stone weight loss after flaunting results

Ola and James Jordan have revealed the secret to their recent six and a half stone weight loss as they launch their new dance fitness plan in time for the new year.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers starred on the BBC competition show together – James from 2006 to 2013 and Ola leaving two years later in 2015.

Since leaving, they admitted they have struggled with their weight over the last couple of years due to not dancing as much along with the birth of daughter Ella, their only child, in 2020.

An “unflattering” holiday photo taken earlier this year however served as a wakeup call and provided the motivation as they embarked on a joint weight loss journey together.

The couple took to Instagram to flaunt their incredible results in a new video after losing six and a half stone between them.

In the short before and after clip, Ola and James could be seen strutting towards the camera while flashbacks came up of them in the same outfits five months ago.

Ola captioned the clip: “Hey watch us lose 6 1/2 Stone in 6 seconds!

“It took a bit longer than that in reality - four months in total. Although the first two weeks were quite dramatic.

“We lost 2 Stone between us in a fortnight. Pretty crazy eh?! But we had a lot to lose and you always lose more in the first couple of weeks.”

She went on to promote the workout and diet plan she and James had been on for the past few months and accredited to their new slimmed down physiques.
