Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has spoken of his pride at taking his solo show to the London Palladium. As he posted about the career achievement, his fans were delighted to see actor Rose Ayling-Ellis – who he won the Glitterball trophy with in 2021 – there to support him on the night.
Giovanni has spent the past few weeks touring his show, Made In Italy, around the UK, the Manchester Evening News reports. After performing it at the Palladium at the weekend, he took to Instagram to post a picture of himself outside the iconic venue, with his face displayed on big screens.
“One day somebody told me: 'Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine'. And last night I felt proud of myself!” he wrote. The dancer also shared a video of the crowd giving him a standing ovation as he thanked them for their support, plus a snap of him with the team that have helped put the show together.
