Strictly Come Dancing stars have rallied round Aljaz Skorjanec after the show's former pro has been dealt an illness blow while on tour with wife Janette Manrara, forcing them to cancel a show.
Aljaz broke the hearts of Strictly fans earlier this year when he announced that he was quitting the BBC show, after nearly a decade of being in the ballroom, winning in his first year alongside Abbey Clancy ands topping the leaderboard twice, in what proved to be his last series, alongside Sara Davies, before they went onto win night one in Newcastle on the Strictly live tour.
While he hasn't been on screen as the new series of Strictly continues to draw in millions of viewers every weekend, Aljaz has been busy as he and other half Janette, also a former Strictly pro, who now hosts sister show It Takes Two, have been busy rehearsing for their A Christmas To Remember tour, which kicked off at the end of last month.

The tour has seen Aljaz and Janette delight audiences in the likes of Portsmouth, Brighton and Manchester but, on Monday, Aljaz had some bad news for fans expecting to see him and Janette on stage at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, revealing he'd been struck down with an illness and was under doctor's orders not to travel or perform.
In a statement shared by himself and Janette on their social media accounts, Aljaz wrote: "To our Belfast fans, I'm sure you have seen by now, we are devastated that we have to cancel tonight's performance in Belfast. We were so excited to come perform for you but, unfortunately, I am truly unwell and doctors have advised me not to travel or perform."
He added: "We are working on a new date for Belfast so please retain your ticket for the new date or request a refund from your point of purchase. WE are sorry but we hope you see you very soon."
Well wishes quickly flooded in for Aljaz, many from his former Strictly co-stars. Gorka Marquez, who will compete in this week's semi final alongside Helen Skelton, responded: " Get better soon brother," while Nancy Xu, also still in the running for the Glitterball win with Will Mellor, commented: " Getting better soon Alj."
Among the many others to comment was Gemma Atkinson, who reached the final of Strictly with Aljaz ion 2017. The former Hollyoaks star wrote: " Ahhh get well soon!!! Sending well wishes."
