Kym Marsh was just 24 years old when she was chosen from thousands of hopefuls to join Hear'Say on the first ever singing reality show, Popstars.
She and bandmates Myleene Klass, Suzanne Shaw, Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster moved into a house in London together as music mogul Nigel 'Nasty' Lythgoe pepared to launch the group.
There, the Strictly Come Dancing star formed a close bond with Myleene, and the firm friends even shared a room together.
