Strictly Come Dancing's Jayde Adams could make it all the way to the final with her 'sexual charisma'.
The BBC One Latin and ballroom show kicked off its first live show of the series last night, with comedian Jayde partnering up with Karen Haeur for the new series. The pair danced a Samba to Dirrty by Christina Aguilera.
Body language expert Judi James exclusively told The Mirror that she is convinced the pair have all that it takes to make it to the final, as she gave her verdict on their sexual charisma as they danced yesterday.
Judi revealed: "Jayde’s body language is a sexual phenomenon. In the brief clips of rehearsals and then during her Samba she ran through the entire handbook of non-verbal flirting while making it all look so effortless, authentic and natural that there must be more in the tanks for the next few weeks. Her up and down scanning eye glance to Karen set the tone of flirty approval, followed by a cupping of Karen’s head and pulling it down onto her chest in a fun-flirty hug.
"She arrived for her routine dressed like Kim Woodburn but once she’d ripped her boiler suit off we got treated to a jaw-dropping routine that left Karen almost out of shot as Jayde stole the entire show. Her hip-roll deserved a show of its own and it more than made up for the fact that her feet (or ‘down below’ as Anton put it) were flatter and heavier than two steam irons."
The pair danced an exciting routine to Christina Aguilera's track Dirrty and Judi is convinced they could be a double act that makes it all the way to the final because of their great rapport with one another.
"The one gesture of being in charge is Karen’s nose-boop ritual, where she taps Jayde on the tip of the nose like a boisterous puppy to let her know she’s done something she approves of," Judi added.
"With Jayde’s powerful sexual signals and her camera-stealing emoting (She did mime crying but doesn’t get the first tears award as her eyes looked dry) and Karen’s quietly confident, puppy-training rituals this could be a double-act that gets all the way to the final if Jayde can just get those feet flying across the floor."
Strictly Come Dancing is making history this year with two same sex couples on the same series for the first time ever. Previously, boxer Nicola Adams danced with Katya Jones whilst Johannes Radebe partnered with John Whaite last series.
Jayde chose to be partnered with a woman, and she'll be taking to the Strictly dancefloor with Karen Hauer.
"I think my partnership with Karen is more about sisterhood, and if you’re in the dance world, which I was as a child, the sort of all-girl and all-male partnerships are quite commonplace," she said.
"Also, to be honest with you, if I was in a male partnership, show me one of the lads that’s lifting me. I’m now going to be able to throw Karen Hauer around that dance floor. She’s going over my head, I don’t care!"
