Saturday's unusual Strictly Come Dancing results show concluded with a bit of news that fans were not hoping for, that next week's shows would, once again, be delayed because of the FIFA World Cup. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced the devastating blow that next week's semi final and results show would now be airing on Sunday and Monday of the following week.

Manchester Evening News reports how the former Gogglebox star wrote on Twitter: "Just had a lovely thought that the remaining @bbcstrictly celebrities, @ClaudiaWinkle @TessDaly, crew and @SCDband might actually be having a Saturday night off and be sat at home on their own sofas."
