BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Fletcher has admitted that early on in his relationship with his now wife Giovanna, the pair actually split up. McFly singer Tom says he spent "years grovelling to get her back".
The couple have now been together for 19 years but Tom opened up on their early relationship and told how he actually dumped her two days after he asked her out.
Speaking to OK!, Tom said: “I asked her out on the day we met. She said yes but I dumped her two days later. Then I spent years grovelling, trying to get her to go back out with me – which thankfully worked! We’ve been together for 19 years this year.”
