"I’m excited to learn new skills and I want to soak up every moment of this magical experience. It’s such an honour to be on the show after years of watching it with my father who loved it so much."

Fleur's dad died of a heart attack in 2020 during lockdown and she broke down in tears as she issued a tribute to his legacy in her chat with Ranvir. She said: "I'm just doing it for him and I'm gutted he can't see me do it to be honest.

"I'm just gonna keep him in mind when I'm doing the show. I'm excited for that reason and my family are going to be buzzing."

Ranvir supported Fleur after she became overwhelmed with emotion. She said: "He'll be with you and you'll hear him cheering you on in your mind. He would be absolutely over the moon that you got selected."
