Strictly Come Dancing finalists' overall scores 'leaked' as battle for Glitterball looms

Strictly Come Dancing finalists' overall scores to date have been 'leaked' by the BBC, just days before the grand finale.

There are now just four couples left in the running for this year's Glitterball trophy: bookies' favourite Hamza and Jowita, Helen and Gorka, Molly and Carlos and Fleur and Vito and all are now readying three different dances for Saturday's Strictly final. There have been a number of ties on the leaderboard this year, leading to some unexpected results, including one time frontrunner Tyler West getting the boot in Blackpool.

All four of the pairs left in the running for the Strictly 2022 final have scored 10s from the judges more than once, but only Fleur and Vito have earned a perfect score, getting 40 for their Couple's Choice routine to a Destiny's Child megamix, a number they will reprise in the final.

Earlier this week, the average scores of each couple were revealed by a fan site, with Hamza and Molly tied on 34.27 out of 40. But, when it comes to the total scores so far, made up of marks from each week, it's Hamza and Jowita who are just ahead. The figures were shared by another Strictly star, Richie Anderson during Thursday's It Takes Two

Hamza and Jowita's total stands at 453, just one ahead of Molly and Carlos on 452, who themselves are just our ahead of Fleur and Vito on 449. Despite being second favourites to win, Helen and Girka's middle of the leaderboard scores in the first few weeks have cost them as they were nearly 20 points behind Fleur and Vito, on 428.
